Day 5 - Friday May 22nd

Day five marked the conclusion of the 2026 STEMNetX Fellowship Boot Camp. Fellows completed their final Python workshop session with Dr. Michael McCracken, where they presented projects developed throughout the week and demonstrated the programming skills they had acquired during the boot camp.

The program concluded with a certificate ceremony recognizing the accomplishments of the 2026 fellows. Dean Jeff Frick of Washington & Jefferson College presented completion certificates, celebrating the students' dedication and participation throughout the week. Family members, faculty, mentors, and guests joined the fellows for the ceremony, recognizing their achievements and the connections formed during the program.

Following the presentations and certificate awards, fellows gathered for a celebratory reception, complete with cake, marking the successful completion of an exciting and impactful week of STEM learning, professional development, and networking.
